We are a privately owned and operated, 20-bed, members only lodge located in heart of Perisher Valley, and we are currently looking for Lodge managers to join our team for the 2024 ski season. This role would suit a couple with a background in hospitality/catering. We have a passionate, diverse membership base who love the Lodge and the convenience and amenities it provides. Our managers are both the face and behind-the-scenes force that help creating an amazing experience for our members, so to land this role you’ll need to have the following skills: Previous experience in a hospitality or catering role Proven culinary skills (sample menu will be required) with the flexibility to cater to various dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free etc) Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail An energetic and positive can-do attitude Self-motivated with a friendly and welcoming demeanour **Bonus points if you also have** Previous experience managing a ski lodge, small boutique accommodation, B&B or similar Stock and inventory management/planning experience Existing knowledge of Perisher mountain operations, terrain and/or amenities What you’ll be doing each day: Opening and preparation of the Lodge at the start of the season and closing the lodge at the end of the season (manual provided) General cleaning and upkeep of the Lodge Preparation and changeover of rooms for exiting/arriving members Ordering all food and consumables for the Lodge Preparing breakfast each morning and three-course dinner for members and guests each evening Basic property maintenance with the ability to do minor repairs and problem solve property operation issues Liaising with the Booking Officer and Board members Providing the Board member for Communications with social media content updates (Instagram) The perks!
