Job Description: We are seeking driven and enthusiastic Rental Technicians to join our team for the upcoming 2025-26 Winter Season. We're looking for individuals with a passion for skiing and snowboarding who are proactive, hands-on, and thrive in a fun, fast-paced, team environment. Job Type: Full Time Duration: November 3, 2025, to April 1st, 2026 Hourly Rate: $20.00 + (Based on Experience) We would love to hear from you if you have the following: A genuine passion for skiing/snowboarding and the winter lifestyle A team player with a positive, proactive attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment Previous experience in rentals or equipment tuning is a bonus (but not required) Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods Willingness to learn Ability to communicate in English High school graduation is required. Duties and responsibilities may include: Greet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm Determine customers’ equipment needs based on skill level, size, and terrain Provide recommendations and explanations for rental gear options Ensure a friendly, helpful, and efficient rental experience Provide quotes and prices for customers Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace) and comfort working with point-of-sale (POS) and scheduling systems Assemble and prepare rental equipment (skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, etc.) Adjust bindings according to the manufacturer and industry safety standards Sanitize and inspect equipment before and after use Assist in the display of skis, snowboards and merchandise Maintain inventory control, operate the computerized inventory and booking system Other duties as assigned by the manager Spicy Perks (Benefits): Winter Whistler Blackcomb Spirit Pass Access to discounted gear and tuning services Spicy discount vouchers for friends and family Tips and gratuity Fun, supportive team environment Opportunity to work where you ride!.
