About King Island: KI is located just off the north coast of Tasmania and we are famous for our delicious food, world class golf courses, amazing scenery and incredible surf. It's a place you can do your 88 Days of specific work, save some decent money, and see a unique side to Australia. Please note, King Island doesn't have nightclubs, big music acts, or a backpacker party scene. If you are looking for this type of entertainment, KI is not a great option for you. We currently have employees completing their 88 day extension with us so we are looking for new staff from September 2025. About Us: We are a brand new hospitality business servicing the high end tourism market coming to King Island to play golf and explore this beautiful place. About the job. • Skilled in making exceptional coffee in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of coffee beans, equipment, and brewing techniques • Ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate • Cooking & Preparation: Prepare/cook a variety of lite meals and cheese platters • Cash Handling and Banking: Accurately handle cash transactions ensuring the security of all payment methods. This includes receiving payments, giving change, processing card transactions with precision and end of shift cash reconciliations We are looking for candidates that are hardworking, proactive and reliable during their assigned shift.
