Ready for an unforgettable summer?!! Look no further. We are looking for a Cook to work on our floating dock restaurant at River Safari in BLUE RIVER, B.C. You will be working on the dock, surrounded by a glacier fed lake with no shortage of mountain views. Start Date: ASAP - Early October 2025 Job Benefits: - Affordable staff housing available ( $14 per night) - Competitive wages based on experience - Opportunities for growth - An ideal schedule will give you an opportunity to travel and explore! - Performance Incentive Plan BONUS paid at the end of contract Responsibilities: - Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies - Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables and preparing sauces) - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Stock inventory appropriately - Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion - Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards - Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Skills, qualities and experience: - Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook is required - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Familiar with industry’s best practices - Able to follow instruction - Be an excellent team player - Willingness to learn Salary based on experience *Must have a valid Canadian work permit* Contract length: 5 months Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
