About the Role We’re looking for an experienced surf instructor to join our team at Drivethru Surfcamp in Hvide Sande, Denmark.
You’ll be teaching beginner and intermediate surfers, sharing your passion for the ocean, and helping guests feel at home in our surf community. The position runs from March/April until the end of August 2026, with the opportunity to return in future seasons.
We’re looking for someone who takes the job seriously, loves teaching, and wants to be part of a long-term team. Your Tasks * Teach surf lessons according to guest level and conditions * Keep safety, fun, and learning in balance * Take care of surf equipment and the surf van (cleaning, small repairs, inventory) * Organize no-wave activities (e.g. balance training, skate/surf skate, theory sessions, stretching, video analysis) * Help create a welcoming, inspiring vibe around the camp * Support in the house and garden when needed — cutting grass, keeping outdoor areas and the garage tidy, ensuring the surf/kite area is in good shape, and helping maintain a cozy atmosphere for guests, supporting the housekeeping team in busy times Requirements * Valid Surf Instructor Certification (e.g. ISA Level 1 or equivalent) * 1–2 seasons of teaching experience preferred * Strong ocean safety and rescue skills * Fluent in English (other languages are a plus) * Responsible, reliable, and motivated * Team player who enjoys working in a small community * EU work permit or eligibility to work in Denmark We Offer * Accommodation and meals included * Salary * A relaxed working environment * Access to camp facilities (sauna, hot tub, SUPs, etc.) * A chance to shape the camp vibe and grow with us long-term * Time and space on the side for your own projects, training, or hobbies
