We are a leading holiday childcare company nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Niseko, Japan. We take pride in providing exceptional care and engaging activities for children year-round, with a special emphasis on winter childcare services. We are currently seeking dedicated Winter Childcare Specialists to join our team for the 2023/2024 winter season. Position Overview As a Winter Childcare Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. Your responsibilities will encompass both our daycare center and on-call babysitting services, requiring adaptability, patience, and a genuine passion for childcare. Responsibilities Daycare Provide day-to-day guidance and active supervision of the children in our daycare centre. Plan and engage children in enriching, play-based, age-appropriate activities. Oversee feeding routines and attend to the general well-being of each child. Cultivate open, effective communication with children, families, and fellow team members. Observe, document, and track children’s activities, development, and behavior. Ensure that indoor and outdoor learning environments are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition. Carry out necessary administrative tasks and other duties as required. Babysitting Arrive promptly at the client’s accommodations, ensuring a safe and engaging play area. Establish a rapport with parents and gather relevant information about the children. Maintain a hazard-free play environment by sanitizing equipment, games, and toys. Attend to personal care needs including diaper changes, dressing, and meals. Foster good personal hygiene and health habits in children. Engage children in hands-on activities tailored to their interests and developmental stage. Maintain individual records for each child. Qualifications At least 2 years of childcare experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, exhibiting patience and empathy. Completion of First Aid and CPR training and certification (including infant care).
