See You Next Season

Panorama Resort Profile.

Panorama is one of the most worker friendly ski resorts in North America. It’s employee housing is walking distance to the chairlifts and it has a great reputation as an all-seasons destination.

The 132 bed on-mountain employee housing complex is comfortable, well organised and oh so convenient. First year employees are given preferential treatment so they can make an easy transition into resort life. Panorama also has contracts with two hotels in Invermere for employees.

If you can’t find accommodation on the mountain, down valley accomodation in Invermere and Windermere is possible and there’s a free winter shuttle between the resort and nearest towns. The youth hostel in Invermere is also an option and a favourite for the party set.

Panorama is also a classic destination resort, a long way from major population centres. There’s also a bunch of great resorts in between Panorama and Calgary. This keeps crowds down and the resort goes out of it’s way to create a desirable place to visit. The free hot springs are a truly great way to finish the day of skiing or working. People soaking in the springs will be from all over of the planet.

Panorama gets a little less snow that nearby resorts but the fabulous skier to acre ratio means it doesn’t get tracked out quickly. 1300 meters of vertical, 3000 acres of skiing, and plenty of hike to terrain makes for fresh tracks way after the snow stops falling.

Terrain park junkies will love Panorama. You can access three parks from the one chairlift.

Panorama also has plenty of summer activities making year round employment possible. There’s white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking and one of the best golf courses in Canada in town. Invermere and the surrounding towns are very popular in summer creating good job opportunities catering to the summer crowds.

Panorama’s motto “Pure Canada” is accurate. It’s friendly, spectacular, and a damn fine place to spend a year or two.
