Orchards Cookery is a multi-award winning residential cookery school that specialises in training and recruiting Chalet Cooks, other courses available include the Off to University course and the all-round Orchards Cookery Course. The five day or two week intensive cookery courses are great fun, with dinner parties in the evenings. The facilities at the school include a; gym, an astroturf games area for tennis, football, basketball, netball etc. a bar and dancefloor, table tennis tables, pool table, badminton and volleyball courts etc. Orchards Cookery is a family run business on a farm near Stratford upon Avon. The class sizes are small with 8 students in each kitchen, with the fun of having up to 48 students living at the school. There are lots of employment opportunities for students including cooking jobs in villas, holiday houses, yachts, shooting lodges etc. The school also employs a number of Gap Year students. For those wanting to do ski seasons, the school offers a recruitment service to help students get jobs which includes, CV writing, checking, sending off to ski companies, interview training, ski company visits/interviews at the school.
