Why take the course

This course is open to any public, organisation or business staff to attend and obtain the WAFA certification as issued by WMA Japan. As a second step for participants interested to obtain WFR – Wilderness First Responder, you may also enroll for the additional 4 days training, 21-24th March. This course is also open to WFR holders who need to re-certify before their 3-year WFR certification expires. Please see WFR BRIDGE COURSE. Through a combination of in-class study and group hands-on sessions, students learn gradually in steps, to consolidate their knowledge and then put their skills into practice. Meeting Location: Meeting at 08:30 on the first morning of course will be specified along with instructions for the course OR for those who are staying at the centre arrival by 5pm to check in and dinner that evening you will meet the team. Accommodation: 3 nights basic accommodation at the Myoko Learning Centre Facility, including meals > ¥ 15,000 * Please note accommodation must be booked before March 07, 2024.
