Seasonal work in Tropical North Queensland.

Update:Feb 2024. There’s plenty of reports of backpackers really struggling to find work in TNQ at the moment. February is slow tourism season in TNQ. If you need to do your 88 Days, farm, construction, or bushfire recovery work in regional areas is a better option than hospitality work in the tropics.

Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) has long been on the backpacker circuit. In peak tourism season (June-Oct) There’s plenty jobs, sun, fun, adventures, and partying in Cairns, Palm Cove, Mossman, Port Douglas, Innisfail, Cape Tribulation, and the Atherton Tableland.

Check out the podcasts to learn the ins and outs for seasonal work in Tropical North Queensland, and see the links for further useful information.
