One last thing. Deciding to chase a dream of a ski season (or two) means you take a gap year, buy that plane ticket, delay your career, or leave your job. Being emotional really drives action, which is an essential component of realising your dreams. Emotions can get you in trouble though. Young seasonal workers who don’t make it, tend to be too emotional and are not willing to compromise on their dream season. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the great. A great season in your second choice resort is way better than going broke at your preferred mountain. Have flexible dreams, be guided by your emotions but also be rational.
